This policy explains, in plain language, what Raahi collects and why. Raahi is a community safety alert app being built for Delhi. 1. This website and the waitlist1. यह वेबसाइट और वेटलिस्ट
- Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you type in. - Where it is stored. The form is handled by Netlify Forms, our website host, which stores submissions on our behalf. - No tracking. This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics. 2. The Raahi app2. राहि ऐप
The following describes how the Raahi app works in its current build. Details may change before launch.नीचे बताया गया है कि राहि ऐप अपने मौजूदा संस्करण में कैसे काम करता है। लॉन्च से पहले ब्योरे बदल सकते हैं।
- Account details. A username and, when phone verification is used, a one-time code sent to your phone number. In the current build we store a hashed form of the number and its last four digits rather than the full number. - Location. With your permission, the app uses your device location to show alerts near you and to place the reports you make. The exact location of a report is stored. - Anonymous and blurred options. Reports in sensitive categories (harassment and stalking) are designed to appear without your username, and their pin on the map is blurred by about 200 metres. Blurring lowers the chance of identifying a place but cannot guarantee it. - Community activity. Votes, comments, flags and a reputation score that reflects how helpful your confirmations have been.सामुदायिक गतिविधि। वोट, टिप्पणियाँ, फ़्लैग और एक रेप्युटेशन स्कोर, जो दिखाता है कि आपकी पुष्टियाँ कितनी मददगार रहीं।
- Optional safety features. If you share your live location with someone you trust or use the emergency help screen, the location involved is stored to provide that feature. These records are private and deleted when you delete your account. We use service providers (such as our website host) to operate Raahi. - App: you can control location permission in your phone's settings. The app is built with an option to delete your account. 7. Security and retention7. सुरक्षा और अवधि
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no system is completely secure. We keep waitlist emails until launch communications are done or you ask us to delete them.
